All our EDWARD laboratory gemologists have a scientific and gemological education and work on a high level of experience and integrity. Our laboratory is equipped with the most modern analytical instruments. This ensures that the authenticity of gemstones, origins, and possible treatments can be tested in the most scientific and reproducible manner.

EDWARD laboratory started offering its services also to private clients. Because our results are reliable, the laboratory soon gained international recognition. Today, EDWARD is leading gemological labs, especially for high-end colored gemstones, diamonds and pearls. EDWARD labs provide independent expert advice in the field of precious stone analysis to a wide clientele. Among them are precious stone dealers, jewelers, auction houses and private customers from many countries. The EDWARD laboratory primarily examines loose cut stones, but set stones in jewelry pieces are also tested. Test reports are written in English, However, the test reports issued are for identification only and do not provide a commercial evaluation.

In order to get the accurate identification result, our lab also equipment with all necessary advanced instruments, such as FTIR,UV-VIS,XRF,Raman.
